"Dwarfer" is the main demonym given to fans of Red Dwarf. It may be considered analogous to "Trekkie".
In this context, a depiction of one actually appeared in the show in the form of Noddy in "Back to Earth, Part Two". However, Arnold Rimmer also used the term to refer to himself and the crew of Starbug when asking the gestalt entity Legion to join their ranks. Another term for the official crew is a Boy from the Dwarf.
The official Red Dwarf convention, Dimension Jump, has been held almost every year since 1992. Whilst originally organised by Grant Naylor Productions itself, since 2000 it has been organised by the official Red Dwarf fan club, which is endorsed by Doug Naylor.
