Zero Gravity Football, also known as Zero-G Football or 0-G Football, is a space sport that is referenced by Dave Lister multiple times. Lister was a fan of the London Jets, the English Zero-G Football team, owns a number of London Jets t-shirts, and as seen in one of his favourite photographs has even met the London Jets "roof attacker" Jim Bexley Speed.
Lister has many posters littering his walls in the sleeping quarters aboard Red Dwarf of the London Jets and his favourite players. Lister has mentioned he played 0-G Football on the AR machine several times (for example, in "Gunmen of the Apocalypse"), although the sport itself remains unseen.
0-G stands for Zero-Gravity, since the sportsmen play the game without gravity. There is also 0-G Kickboxing. A famous player from the London Jets is Jim Bexley Speed. Speed broke the all-time record for yardage in a single season. He played in the Roof Attack position. Lister named his twin sons after Mr. Speed.
Lister was very happy when a post pod included a video of two seasons of Zero-G Football. Lister said that he would see the other Dwarfers in the spring. ("Better Than Life")
The game has been played since at least the 2170s; the Series X episode "Fathers & Suns" has also shown it to be a popular video game as well, Zero-G Total Football.
When Arnold Rimmer temporarily became an Officer, to annoy Lister he removed Lister's privileges to watch the Zero-G Football channel, and all he could watch instead was croquet. ("Officer Rimmer")

- In the deleted scenes for "Better Than Life", Lister mentions that he has replaced Jim Bexley Speed as the London Jets roof attacker within his own digital fantasy.
