Greta (credited as Waitress Greta) was a young woman who came from 24th-century Earth. She joined the SS Enconium, a massive spaceship where criticism was illegal, and became a loyal citizen of the ship.
Meeting the Dwarfers[]
At some point, the SS Enconium was washed up three million years into the future by a Time Wave.
The boys from the Dwarf met Greta when they came aboard the SS Enconium and entered the American-style diner, where Greta was working as a waitress, serving food and drinks on roller skates. She wasn't very good at her job, spilling very hot coffee all over Arnold Rimmer's crotch.
She then brought a processed sausage with sprouts in a radish jus, and one warm goat salad, over to the Dwarfers. When they complained that they hadn't ordered any food or drinks, and that what she had brought looked gross (and Rimmer wanted a new pair of testicles), she screamed 'Critics!" and got on the phone behind her counter to report them.
The Dwarfers fled the diner, but were soon accosted by a Crit Cop before they could leave the ship.

Later, after the Dwarfers had convinced chief lawmaker Ziggy Briceman to repeal the law on criticism, Ziggy had Greta bring over a "gift" - a terribly drawn picture of a rocketship. Dave Lister said that it wasn't very good, causing Ziggy to get angry and reinstate the law.
The Dwarfers then ran back to Starbug and fled the SS Enconium for good. ("Timewave", Series XII)
