The Asquith droid, reprogrammed to believe that he is Hitler, is at the forefront of this selfie
Professor John Asquith was once a citizen of United America on Earth, and a gifted doctor of neurosciences. In later years, an android likeness of Asquith was created, and his consciousness was copied and implanted into the droid. The same process occurred with a number of his colleagues, and the doctor droids were sent to the Evil Rehabilitation Base on a moon in Deep Space, where they were to experiment with "curing evil". Their primary patient was a cloned version of their former boss, Shaul Telford, who had once been executed for his crimes.
Years later, a still un-cured Telford was able to reprogram the droids to believe that they were not only human, but they were clones of "evil" historical figures, that they were now cured, and that he was their doctor. The Asquith droid was himself was reprogrammed to believe that he was a rehabilitated Adolf Hitler. This was all part of a ruse to deceive anybody unlucky enough to pass by the moon, and ultimately for Telford steal a spaceship to escape the moon. ("Cured", Series XII)
