"So Judas was crucified, and Jesus was able to show up the following Monday and say, 'I'm back baby, I'm back!"
-Arnold Rimmer ("Lemons")
Judas of Nazareth was the twin of his more famous brother, Jesus. who became a religious icon and leader.
Biography[]
Judas was born into a large family. He had a twin brother named Jesus of Nazareth
Christianity formed in his brother's teachings and name. A special branch later formed of a group correctly theorising that Jesus and Judas were siblings and that they had, at one point, switched places. Judas was the one that was crucified under his brother's name. On the Monday, Jesus reappeared, making it look like he had come back form the dead.
Arnold Rimmer's mother believed in this theory, and thus named her son Arnold Judas Rimmer, hoping that he could sacrifice his popularity for others, like she knew Judas did. ("Lemons")
