Kerry Shale (born 17 June, 1958 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) is a British-Canadian comedian, actor, newspaper columnist, writer and producer.
Career[]
Born in Canada, Kerry Shale has been based in London, UK, since the late 1970s, and has become prolific in a number of fields. He has been active in the UK, US and Canada.
Shale has provided narration and voice-overs for cartoons, documentaries, audio books, and hundreds of video games, some of which he has written.
Shale has voice acted in over 200 BBC radio plays.
Shale is also an extensive actor in film, television and theater, with dozens of credits to his name. He has also written five West End of London stage productions.
Shale has founded improvisation comedy groups in the past.
Red Dwarf[]
Shale performed a number of roles in Series X of Red Dwarf. His presence is most notable in the episode "Fathers & Suns", for which he played the part of the Medi-Bot / Denti-Bot, and also gave the voices for the vending machines Dispenser 55 and Taiwan Tony.
