Ray Fearon is a British theatre and television actor. Fearon portrays the main antagonist Rodon, leader of the Feral Cats and commander of the Cat Fleet, in the 2020 Red Dwarf special "The Promised Land".
Biography[]
Fearon was born in London to a large family of West Indian heritage. Before turning to acting, Fearon was an aspiring tennis player.
Fearon is known for his extensive theatre work, especially with the Royal Shakespeare Company including Othello and Macbeth.
In television, Fearon is perhaps best known for his role as Nathan Harding in the soap opera Coronation Street. He has also appeared in Strictly Come Dancing, Fleabag, and His Dark Materials.

- Fearon studied the performance of Danny John-Jules in order to better portray a Felis sapiens.
- In the making-of documentary "The Promised Doc", Craig Charles jokes that Fearon was so good in his role that he should have played Cat.[1]
