Kryten and Dave Lister form their own political party
The Independent Future Party is a political party formed aboard Red Dwarf by Kryten, with Dave Lister as his running mate.
The political party is currently in charge of Red Dwarf, having won an election against Arnold Rimmer's "The Lovely Fluffy Liberal Alliance Party", as voted for by the various artificial intelligences of Red Dwarf.
Kryten currently has the role of "Machine President", a role which represents the rights of the machines, and effectively grants control of Red Dwarf. ("Mechocracy", Series XII)
