TRDOM Collection 2025
The Red Dwarf Online Museum (or TRDOM for short) is a virtual museum exhibiting all sorts of Red Dwarf memorabilia and merchandise released throughout each of the last five decades. The collection, originally a private hobby of The Curator, was digitised as a 2020 "lockdown project", and the website made live in 2021.

Red Dwarf Official Site 34 Year Celebration[]
During the festivities dedicated to celebrating Red Dwarf's 34 year anniversary, the official Red Dwarf website wrote an article to "run through the entirety of Red Dwarf's history to date and count down 34 things that have in one way or another defined those 34 years". And coming in at Groovy Funky Number 27 was- The Merchandise. As the boffins over at RD HQ say, "The sheer scope of merchandise that has been released over the years deserves an article all to itself", providing a link to the TRDOM website stating, "we love seeing these reminders from the past"!
A Message From The Curator[]
What's happening dudes? I am The Curator. I love Red Dwarf. I particularly love how much Red Dwarf memorabilia and merchandise there is. You might not really think that a cult late 80's sci-fi sitcom would be the usual suspect for merch, but you would be wrong. Because Red Dwarf has merch. Boy, does Red Dwarf have merch. Common merch. Rare merch. Official merch. Knocked off merch. Old merch. New merch. In fact, merch from every decade for the last five decades.
If you were to invent a stasis booth, plug it in, hop inside it, and have a pal activate the stasis field for a three million year cycle, then two things would happen when you come to. One- you would have a Norweb Federation Officer waiting to collect $£180 billion for the continued power supply on your stasis booth, and two- you would find the entire Earth had been transformed into a gigantic Garbage World.
There would be mountain ranges composed entirely of discarded tin cans, islands the size of the Malagasy Republic piled high with decomposing black bin bags, fermenting seas flaming with toxic waste, thousands and thousands of miles of rusting chassis, vast featureless deserts of cigarette tips, hills and valleys made purely of green glass bottles, whole landmasses given over to particular types of waste. And down there at the bottom, in what was once Antarctica, you would find the continent dedicated to Red Dwarf merch. That is how much Red Dwarf merch there is. Lots.
The museum provides a glimpse into just some of that merch. This is a single collection, that The Curator has spent many years gathering, cataloguing, displaying and, now, digitising. This, is The Red Dwarf Online Museum!
